If you are unable to resolve your remodeling project issues with your contractor and have been unsuccessful in using the methods described in the Where Do You File Complaints? section of my site, you may want to consider contacting the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), National Association of Home Builders Remodelers™ Council or the National Association of Consumer Agency Administrators.
The FTC is a consumer advocate whose job is to prevent fraudulent, deceptive or unfair business practices. They also provide consumers with information to help them spot, stop and/or a business who is conducting themselves in a fraudulent or deceptive manner.
